When we started providing free WiFi in 2004, Atlanta ranked dead
last in a list of the 10 largest U.S.
cities for the number of free wireless hotspots (according to jiwire.com).
Last? Atlanta is number one in so many other areas, like traffic,
humidity and pollen count, so we don't take too kindly being ranked
last in anything. Determined to turn this boat around, we made it
our mission to be the numero uno city when it comes to free wireless
hotspots.
So join us in keeping Atlanta the most wireless major city in the
world. We need to be known for something else besides "Hot-lanta."
