  1. Review the posted positions, paying close attention to the linked job descriptions.
  2. Read our fearless leader’s blog about getting hired at Ripple.

  4. If your introductory message and resume look good we’ll send you a link to an online assessment to help give us a better sense of your views on customer service.
  5. We’ll arrange an initial (30 minutes or so) meeting to review your resume and explain more about the company, the role and answer any questions you have. While you’re at the office we’ll also have you take our 30 minute, written technical skills assessment.
  6. If all goes well, you’ll swing by the office for a team technical interview. That way you can suss out your potential coworkers, and they can learn more about you and about your troubleshooting skills.
  7. If you’re still going, the formal interview comes next. It’s 3 to 4 hours of in-depth discussions, with plenty of coffee and bathroom breaks. It’s not horrible, but it does include homework.
  8. Reference and background checks. If you’ve made it this far this will be the easiest part, and if everything goes well your next task might be adjusting your new Herman Miller chair.

Careers at Ripple

At Ripple we demand a high level of responsibility, which is probably just a natural by-product of our small size and the high standards we set for ourselves. We also have pretty solid benefits for a small company: things like medical and dental insurance, 401k plan, and profit sharing, not to mention a professional espresso machine in the kitchen. In addition to free barista training, which you’ll need to operate the espresso machine, we offer instant cash bonuses for approved certifications achieved while at Ripple.

Ripple is pretty much always looking for technology professionals who haven’t forgotten that it’s people we help, not computers. Convince us of that fact and tell us how you would improve Ripple and we’ll typically figure out a way to hire you. If you see positions listed below those are specific roles we’re trying to fill right now, but if you think you would bring value to Ripple in another capacity please don’t hesitate to contact us.
